Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Docklands, Sergy Boy is a vibrant cafe that beckons with its warm ambiance and delectable menu offerings. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a stunning decor that blends wood and greenery, creating a serene environment that is both inviting and refreshing—a perfect escape from the bustling corporate atmosphere of Melbourne Quarter.

Sergy Boy prides itself on a diverse menu that caters to various palates. For breakfast, the Veg Club is a fan favorite, featuring a vegetarian omelette generously filled with sautéed mushrooms, fresh tomato, spinach, and crumbled feta, all for just A$17.00. Another crowd-pleaser is the Smashed Avo, richly adorned with dukkah, feta, and two perfectly poached eggs on multigrain toast for A$18.00, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a classic with a twist.

For lunch, you can take your pick from beautifully crafted options like the Pulled Lamb Salad (A$34.00), which combines tender lamb with spiced potatoes, fresh green beans, and a creamy yoghurt feta—this dish is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the taste buds. Alternatively, indulge in the flavor-packed Plala Burger (A$22.00) or the Grilled Salmon (A$24.00) served over a zesty quinoa salad—the taste of each bite is sure to linger.

But it’s not just the food that sets Sergy Boy apart; the reviews speak volumes about the experience. Regulars like Greg B note the cafe’s busy yet efficient service, perfect for those on the go, while Michela Zanata highlights the cafe as an excellent spot for working lunches with a buffet that delights the senses. Even the coffee—though noted to have a strong profile—has its supporters who appreciate the quick service and availability of milk alternatives like coconut milk, as Madeline “Maddie” Silins shares.

Visit Sergy Boy for not just a meal but an experience that promises excellent food, top-notch coffee, and an atmosphere that invites you to linger just a little longer. With an array of offerings that appeal not only to the hungry but also to those seeking a cozy workspace or a place to catch up with friends, this cafe is a must-visit in Docklands. Don’t forget to treat yourself to their famed red velvet lamington—a sweet finale to a delightful outing!

Whenever I walk past Sergy Boy, it's packed; so today I decided to go in. It's a big, open place, and although it's usually busy they whiz through the orders. Coffee sizes are small, large and jumbo - which I find annoying. The coffee is OK, but kind of strong and watery at the same time. Quite a lot of good treats. For those who remember, it's a bit like De Mad Hatter (further down Collins St) used to be.

Beautiful cafe for working lunches and coffees! The buffet choice of salads and hot lunches looks great, and my Caesar salad was delicious. The carrot cake was the treat alongside a great almond cappuccino. For a short and breezy business lunch of catch-up this is a lovely place.

Been going to Sergy since he opened his new store! Coffee is spot on and they use milk lab milk and do coconut milk! Food for lunch has a mixture of quick grab items and more home cooked meals all made fresh!!! They get super busy but have no issues getting the coffees out just as quick, usually go back for a second and a sweet treat! Try the red velvet lamington too!!!! Wow!

I invited a friend of mine to this cafe for lunch. It's located within Melbourne Quarter - a very busy corporate area of Docklands. The service was great, the atmosphere was good too as the cafe seemed very popular. My take on the food that we were served for lunch was a little disappointing though. I asked for medium poached eggs and the eggs came out hard. My friend ordered a side of crispy bacon, but her bacon came out rather rubbery (which isn't the same thing). Other than those bits of feedback on the meals, the experience was good.
